Hey football fans!! Gearing up for this weekend?

Players on both the Chiefs and the 49er’s are used to dipping in icy water to recover as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We bet that Allegretti, Kittle, and the rest of the competition squad on both sides will engage in this same practice this week before the Super Bowl on February 11th!

Follow their lead and come take a plunge before the big game, we are open from 8am-4pm on Sunday🏈❄️

💡 Ever wonder why we keep our plunge tubs at certain temperatures?

Well, research done by Srámek, et. al has shown that cold water immersion (a plunge in our tubs) increases dopamine levels. Dopamine, otherwise known as the “happy hormone”, is a neurotransmitter in the brain that spikes when we experience something pleasurable.

Need a mood boost? After a plunge in our tub, the concentrated release of this hormone should give you some added motivation to work hard and the ability to enjoy the rest of your day, among many other benefits.
