Mother’s Day is a month away, don’t wait until the last second to plan. Here are a few ideas for gifts that are sure to make her day.
- Get her some pampering. A gift card for her favorite service: a facial, massage, mani-pedi, whatever she loves. Want to make it even better? Schedule it for her too and take a bit off her mental load.
- Let her rest! Whether it’s sleeping in for a lazy morning or an early night to herself for some self care - knowing that things are handled will give her peace of mind. And a cup of coffee in bed is always welcome too!
- Put together a sentimental gift. My first Mother’s Day both my husband and my mother put together beautiful photo albums for me and I cherish them. It could be a photo gift, something made by the kids, customized jewelry - anything that shows heartfelt effort.

Which treatment is your favorite?
I always appreciate honest and direct feedback - even when it's not fun to hear. Some of these comments were sent in messages or mentioned privately in person, so you may not see them in the comments.
Ultimately, I never meant to come across in a way that was arrogant, but I wanted people to be informed that this is something I've not only seen happening, but heard complaints about from clients and providers alike.
It was also mentioned that I shouldn't be calling people out. I purposely didn't mention anyone by name for this reason. If you're a provider who has mislabeled yourself and didn't realize that it was a violation of your license, you can always make those changes. I didn't say these things to single anyone out, but to help bring awareness and ultimately safety to clients.
I apologize if I came across in a way that was upsetting to some, I was speaking out of frustration.
If you know me, you'll know that I put a high emphasis on integrity and am proud to work somewhere that prioritizes safety and compliance.
To my clients, I hope you'll continue coming to see me and working with me.
To everyone else, I hope you give me a chance.
