It’s been 11 years and some change… about 2 weeks from now we’ll have a new anniversary. Probably about time to officially tie the knot. Looking forward to celebrating in California before heading up to Laguna Seca.
Cramming a wedding between two race rounds is about as Motorsport as it gets 😂

Off to the West Coast for MotoA & Our wedding between rounds. GA to MO in one sitting today… only 28 hours or so to go 😂.
Hardy boy has been an absolute trooper over the whole 12 hour day.

I’ll post the first two entries of the “Top Gear Hotlap Challenge” over the next few days… the order as it stands so far…
1. .grigg272 - 2:22.176
2. .smith78_ - 2:24.520 (first time spinning laps on a sim rig)
I’m going to get my own entry on the board tomorrow before leaving for the west coast… so far it’s proven to be a great challenge of delivering under pressure.
3 flying laps to set a time.. can you nail it down as much as you did in the 25 minutes of practice? So far neither entry has matched their best practice time.

Just about time to head out west for some more racing. Next up is one of the most scenic tracks on the calendar with Mount Olympia looming in the background.
Looking like some nice cool weather as of right now. Excited to get back to it 🤘🏼

6 years ago the world was shut down still… Hardy boy and I spent hours every few days playing hockey at an abandoned roller rink.
At that point it was all about finding the simple joys in life once again. 6 years later that still tends to be a struggle… it’s go, go, go, so much of the time that we forget to slow down and just find some enjoyment.
You shouldn’t need the entire world shut down to be able to find some time to be present and grateful. It’s something you should be practicing on a daily basis.
With all of that said I do miss the puppy days with Hardy boy. He’s getting to be an old man now.

My favorite quote belongs to Teddy Roosevelt. If you haven’t heard the full speech it’s well worth a listen.
