MVP Recovery is honored to serve as a presenter at the Delaware County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training, helping bridge the collaboration between law enforcement and behavioral health throughout our community.

Delaware County continues to stand out as an innovative model for integrating law enforcement and behavioral health to improve outcomes for individuals and families in crisis. MVP Recovery is proud to be a key supporting partner in that mission alongside law enforcement agencies throughout Delaware County.

During this week’s CIT training, MVP Recovery SHIELD Coordinator, Corporal Leo Francis Doyle of the Ridley Township Police Department, led a multifaceted wellness seminar focused on the importance of first responder wellness and the critical support services available through the MVP Recovery SHIELD Program. Supporting those who protect our communities is a vital part of strengthening public safety and behavioral health systems alike.

In addition, the MVP Recovery team presented and trained attendees on the Delaware County District Attorney's Office Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative (LETI) Program, an innovative diversion program that helps connect individuals struggling with behavioral health and substance use disorders to treatment and recovery support services instead of incarceration.

Through the leadership of the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office, the collaboration of police departments across Delaware County, and the dedication and commitment of the MVP Recovery team, Delaware County now ranks among the top-performing counties in Pennsylvania for LETI outcomes. This success is evidence of what is possible when law enforcement and behavioral health work together through innovative collaboration, shared vision, and a commitment to removing barriers to treatment and recovery.

MVP Recovery is proud to continue serving as a linchpin in bridging the gap between criminal justice, law enforcement, treatment, and recovery support, helping remove barriers, increase access to care, and strengthen our communities every single day.
