Just wanted to hop on here since it’s been a little while.

I don’t really have any new updates, but I wanted to let everyone know that I’m doing my absolute best to get my POTS under control. Right now, I’m waiting to get in with a few different specialists, and if you’ve ever dealt with a chronic illness, you know that getting answers can take time.

In the meantime, I’m still only able to get through 2–3 massages per workday, especially with the heat and the symptoms I’m currently dealing with. As difficult as it has been to accept, this is my new normal for now.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, grace, and understanding as I navigate this season. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support my small business, prayed for me, checked in on me, and adjusted to my ever changing schedule. It means more than you know.

I’m hopeful that with the right specialists and treatment plan, I’ll eventually be able to do more again. Until then, I’m taking things one day at a time and giving my body the best chance to heal.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a little update on my health and where things currently stand.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve been undergoing cardiac testing and working closely with my cardiologist to determine the cause of some ongoing heart-related issues. It has been a season of uncertainty and, at times, a scary one.

My cardiologist placed me completely off work for two weeks. I was recently released to return, but with medical restrictions limiting me to two massages per day while we continue searching for answers and working toward a treatment plan that helps manage my symptoms.

I have started medication, but unfortunately it hasn’t worked the way we had hoped. My doctor recently prescribed another medication that may be helpful, but insurance is currently not covering it, which has been another unexpected challenge to navigate.

As many of you know, caring for others is something I genuinely love. Slowing down has not come easily, but I’m learning to listen to my body and trust the process, even when the path forward feels uncertain.

At this time, my schedule and response times may continue to look a little different as I balance work, appointments, testing, and treatment. I’m incredibly grateful for my clients, friends, and family who have shown me grace, patience, encouragement, and prayers during this season.

Thank you for supporting both me and Sozo Massage Co. It means more than you know. I’m taking things one day at a time and trusting God through the unknown.

Hello everyone,

Due to an unexpected health issue, my cardiologist has placed me off work while I undergo further testing and evaluation. As a result, I had to cancel my continuing education trip to Arizona and will be adjusting my schedule until I have more answers.

This isn’t an update I expected to be sharing, but I’m trusting the process, focusing on getting answers, and taking care of my health so I can get back to serving my amazing clients.

At this time, my availability, work days, and response times may be a bit unpredictable as I navigate appointments, testing, and whatever the next steps may be. If you currently have an appointment scheduled, I will contact you directly regarding any necessary changes.

With the end of May right around the corner, I wanted to hop on here with a few updates!

I have a few openings left over the next couple of weeks! With Memorial Day falling on one of my normal work days, I’ll also be opening up Tuesday, May 26th.

Availability:
• May 26th – 1pm, 2:30pm (booked), & 4pm
• June 1st – 8pm
• June 2nd – 7:30pm
• June 10th – 2:30pm
• June 13th – 7am

I’ll also be heading to Arizona June 3rd–8th for my second visceral manipulation course, where we’ll be learning more work involving the kidneys, spleen, and pancreas. The human body truly never ceases to amaze me, and I’m so thankful to continue furthering my education to better support my clients.

A little over a month into this new chapter, and I find myself pausing in this space…just taking it all in. Things are going so well, and I’ve been staying busy (I’ll be posting my available days for May soon).

What started as a step of faith is becoming something so meaningful. I kinda love this little life!
