Our mission is to help our Delaware County, Ohio community set a course to live well as they age. We provide free resources and support for family caregivers.

SourcePoint provides in-home care that helps older adults live safely in their own homes, including services like Meals on Wheels, help with chores, rides to medical appointments, home safety checks, emergency response systems, and more. We are also your source for both fun and fitness—our 44,000-square-foot community center is designed for adults ages 55 and better to focus on health and wellness

⚠️Is your phone an Android device? If so, you need to be prepared for a major change in backup storage. Shout out to SourcePoint's Tech Talk instructor Jarren Ringle for sharing this information and keeping us all informed!

✅Google has started emailing Android users about its upcoming backup storage policy change that takes effect in 45 days.

✅All Android backup data, including Google Photos uploads, multimedia messages, text messages, call history, device settings, and app settings, will soon count toward your Google Account storage limit.

✅The email also confirms new granular backup controls that let users choose exactly which apps and data types are backed up.

So, what happens if you run out of storage?

✅If your account exceeds storage after the change, Android backups will pause until you free up space or upgrade your Google plan. Users are given an estimate of extra storage needed.

✅If you’re running Android 9 or later, you can select specific data and apps for backups, allowing you to exclude unwanted items from future backups or restorations.

✅ Google states users can track Android backup storage via Google One, free up space, buy extra storage, or turn off backups.

SourcePoint trip-goers enjoyed a beautiful day of hiking at Conkle's Hollow State Nature Preserve. Special thanks to trip organizer Mary Ann Evans for sharing photo highlights from the day.📸

The day began with a brief stop at the Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center, which offered beautiful views of the surrounding area. Hikers received information to help them decide which of the two trails was best for them. After hiking, they all enjoyed lunch at Logan’s Millstone BBQ, followed by ice cream at Shorty’s, a unique destination located inside the Columbus Washboard Company.
