Hello Ladies! As the new year begins I would like to let you know that my hours will be changing a bit. This shouldn’t effect clients that are typically book at the same times or are on a repeat booking cycle. Hopefully my availability will open up quite a bit more during the next few months as I make some transitions but I would like to let you know that if you don’t see a time that works for you on the gloss genius site, to message me directly to get you booked. I can only allow my schedule on the website to be so wide but make tons of exceptions for clients that need to book during non business hours.

Perfect brows and lashes

So fluffy. With a fresh wax to unveil some healed brows as well.

Fresh nanoblading. Reminder that December is the last month to get the $250 brow special.
$150 for your first set of brows and $100 for the touch up. It can make a great Christmas gift for someone who’s always wanted it!

1 year difference. I’m going to be really vulnerable here for a moment because when I took these photos I would cry. I would cry so hard that I would lay in bed all day. This wasn’t even the worst of it but who would take me seriously as an esthetician when my skin was still like this. I always tried to cheat and go for a fast solution to get rid of my acne and it would backfire on me. I was taught that chemical peels , salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide and exfoliation were the only ways to get rid of acne and I would reach for those any time it would get bad until I learned how to heal my skin. I learned how to take the very slow and incredibly painful route of healing my compromised skin barrier through hydration *gasp* oil cleansers *gasp* and looking at internal (diet and having endometriosis) and environmental factors (living in one of the harshest environments to heal skin) * dramatic gasp* with healing, soothing and loving my skin instead of trying to burn it off I’ve created a sustainable way to keep it healthy. Because health matters above all else. I still get breakouts and I still have a long way to go to correct some of the scarring those harsh treatments and ingredients have permanently given me but I’ve learned so much about cosmetic chemistry, this craft and being a better esthetician with my journey. I dabbled in skincare positions but I wasn’t comfortable giving out skincare advice with just the education I was given right out of school. I’ve been (and still am) taking the time to research and learn under mentors and cosmetic chemists so that I can better help other people and will soon be opening up my books for skincare consults and am working on retailing affordable skincare for the people I help. Stay tuned and please be patient as building this part of my business is not easy. If you are interested in skincare services or would like to chit chat about what will all become available feel free to message me.
Thank you for allowing me to open up about the first year of my journey and I can’t wait to see what another year brings me.
