In a recently published Forbes article, Christopher Marquis met with Trey Winthrop, Bob’s Red Mill’s current CEO to discuss the impact of employee ownership on the company.

Winthrop noted that “at Bob’s Celebration of Life, an employee mentioned that thanks to Bob setting up the ESOP, she and her husband can have a comfortable retirement, something she didn’t expect when starting her position on a factory line. That is exactly the type of continuity and legacy Bob hoped to leave.”
