The Steel Magnolias Salon of LKN

Today feels a little heavier.

What an honor it has been to build a true Steel Magnolias Salon right here in the heart of Sherrills Ford—a place built by strong women, for strong women. Women who can carry the weight of the world, hold their families together, run businesses, survive storms, and still walk through the door with grace, laughter, and a little lipstick.

Dolly Parton has always represented the mindset I have tried to live by—know who you are, never apologize for it, work hard, stay humble, love people, give back, and never let this world take the sparkle God placed inside you.

She proved that a woman could be soft and strong, glamorous and gritty, deeply rooted in her faith and where she came from, yet bold enough to dream far beyond it. She never had to become less of herself to make other people comfortable—and neither should we.

Steel Magnolias has never been just a salon name. It is who we are. Strong enough to survive the storms, but soft enough to keep loving people through them.

Dolly may be gone, but that mindset will forever live inside these walls.

May we always work hard, dream bigger, love louder, give freely, laugh at ourselves, and do it all with a little extra sparkle.

Forever inspired. Forever grateful. Forever a Dolly kind of woman. 🤍✨
