Sharing my experiences falling in love with hikes and my adventures after

This month I tried chair dancing knowing there was no way I could post video footage of this.

✨ I’m spending the year trying one new adventure of the month. It’s time to stop saying “One Day.” Follow for the journey and drop what I should do next 👇

This activity belongs in my memories and not my students’ 😂

So why do it? To continue to push myself to be comfortable in my own body.

This helps in so many areas of my life… even during triathlon I need to know how I’m moving.

The problem? I was quickly reminded that I have no idea what my body is actually doing.

Will I ever use this skill? Absolutely not.

Will I go back? Absolutely.

Swipe for the fail at the end.

Honorable mention: After YEARS of saying I wanted to, I also finally took a cooking class! It was fun. Still don’t like to cook.

As I reflect on August, I am once again reminded I am living the life I chose to create.

Will I be happy every day? No. I think I cried more random tears this month than most months this year.

Do I ever want to work again? No. But how lucky am I to get to talk about my passion every day with students I love?

Does my body let me do what I would love to do again? No. But look what it can do. Peaked on the bike for the year. 🥹

Do I have all of the relationships I’d ever like to have? No. But look at these amazing people willing to adventure with me. And new faces I hope to continue to add to the mix.

😉 And I have the money to buy floor tickets without thinking twice.

I was in Breckenridge for a bachelorette party recently, and we decided we needed an easy hike just to move a little.

(Definitely all recovering from having too much fun).

📍 Sawmill Reservoir was the perfect pick! So easy and short with beautiful views of the sunset. And it’s close to a troll for all of you troll hunters out there.

Hike 7 in 2026! Maybe one day I’ll go after a big one again.

📌 Hit the follow to see real life adventures! Living my year training and proving I can still have fun.
