I just wanted to update everyone of my upcoming holiday hours. I am going to be closed the week before Christmas, and only have a few more spots available for the rest of December!

The decision of implementing a slight price increase has been heavy on my heart, and a decision I put off as long as I could. I know money is tight for most of us, and I am so grateful you chose to spend your time and money with me. In all three years of owning Wax and Wane I have never increased my prices, however with the increased prices of products (especially sanitation products as they have tripled in price) and the growing housing market in Denver, I have to do this for the survival of Wax and Wane.
This will allow me to continue using the highest quality products, continue to master my craft by growing my quality and knowledge for every service I offer, and to maintain an updated studio space for my lovely clients.

That being said, this price increase will go into effect April 1st.
(All future appointments booked before April 1st will be set at the current price)

Tips:
✨take the photo and don’t look back. At first it’s going to be hard to not criticize yourself - it’s about the progress of each and every photo. We all have to start somewhere 💗
✨take photos in bright natural lighting
✨try to maintain the same angle or pose in each photo
✨don’t obsess if some photos look better than others, trust the process babe

Woah it has been a while, but I’m back! 👋🏻👋🏻 At first I was really beating myself up for postponing my Instagram creativity, and I’d love to pretend that I'm super woman that can handle multiple things at once, but I'm not and that’s okay! So what have I been up to these last few months? ⁣

BUILT A WHOLE DAMN HOUSE! 🏠 ⁣
For the last 3 years my boyfriend and I have been planning our dream home, which we brought to life by building it ourselves! ⁣
- 1.5 years planning + 1.5 years building and I'm happy to say we're moved in to our custom 4 bed, 4 bath home! ⁣
- These last few months have been the ultimate crunch as we have installed our own hardwood floor, tile, plumbing, cabinets, closets, painting, I could go on for hours! My boyfriend is very talented in construction (like designing the whole thing himself 😍✊🏼) and a contractor which made all of this possible.⁣
- I have learned all kinds of new vocabulary and have a new appreciation for how structures are built! I somehow pulled off being able to switch from beauty boss to construction boss, wearing both hats daily.⁣

Now that we’ve accomplished the hardest thing I’ll ever do in my life, I have so many ideas just waiting to be put into creation! Quality content you deserve coming soon! ✨⁣
