Aloha, For some of the new followers that I have, I wanted to say thank you and give a brief update of my education and experience. I went to hair school at MC College in Edmonton Alberta, Canada and graduated from there in 2009. I did an apprenticeship there for two years. I took a break from hair because I was shy and I ended up getting a job as a poker dealer in a casino for three years which really helped my confidence in speaking to people. I then owned my own trucking company for two years and I truck drove from Canada to Texas and back and lived in my truck for two years. After that, I moved to Seattle for Love about nine years ago for my fiance. I then entered a curly hair mentorship and worked under my mentor for two years and got the pleasure of building my clientele in that beautiful city until relocating to Honolulu. I’m super grateful for my diverse work experience because it helped me be adaptable, especially moving and rebuilding my hair client. Thank you for listening to my Tanis talk.

When you get your Gen Z client to edit a TikTok for you. 😂😂😭🫶🏽 I met this client of mine a few years ago, I started cutting his hair and every time he would go back to Canada, he’s would bring my favorite Ketchup Chips and we had gotten close over the years. He’s my Canadian nephew now ☀️

The longer I do hair, the more I’m amazed to see my clients grow! I’ve been cutting little misses hair since college and truly honored to grow with you!
