We Make: Detroit

Wendy and Sherry took their friendship to another level by joining forces to help build, promote and sell their individual handmade brands and to build a handmade community in Detroit. Sherry is the owner of Madiscents, a unique handmade herbal skin care company. Wendy is the owner of Black Bottom Designs, a company dedicated to creating Detroit-inspired handmade goods. She is also the owner of Thyme + Harmony, a boutique urban herb and cut flower farm in Detroit that sells sustainably grown fresh cut flowers, herbs and value-added products.
