Happy Thursday!
Trudy is definitely doing better.
She got put to bed early last night.š
The vet said to keep her low key for fourteen days we are barely at seven.
Sheās ready to live her best life.
She went for a short walk and played outside a bit and is currently napping with her sister.
Why are they even cuter sleeping?ššš

Maybe for today we settle into the new beginning God has set for us.
Maybe we trust, maybe we let go of the path we thought we needed.
Maybe we ask with faith.
Ask and surrender.
Itās in the surrender Iām learning where my peace resides.
I always thought I knew my path clearlyā¦
Career, marriage, home, childrenā¦
What God walked me through midway of the life I thought I was building, the thing I wouldāve never chosenā¦
Loss..
In the beginning I gripped tightly to all the pieces as they started to crumble.
I felt lost, I felt broken.
But as Iām on the other side, I learned grief may always walk with me, but I can honor it without it keeping me from living.
Live fuller, love harder, to know how precious time truly is.
I write this for not only my healing, but others to come.
To know your not alone, the questions, the pain, the starting over when you donāt think you can, the tug of war of holding on and letting go.
I feel itās all part of the unorganized process.
Our journey is allowed to look different.
Our timeline is our own.
May peace find you through your surrender.

When life inevitably ask you to begin again, I hope you remember that God has never once been afraid of a new beginning. Maybe that is what resurrection has always been trying to teach usā¦..Amanda Francis
My most painful experiences is where my faith strengthened.
Looking back I had to surrender, I had to trust the unfolding.
It wasnāt the life I thought Iād have, itās a new one.
This time around Iām open to guidance, instead of needing a set of plans.
I know my purpose is in the storm God walked me through.
I would never want that pain again, EVER!
But I can see now how it has changed me.
I learned grief and gratitude can coexist.
We can miss someone deeply, yet we still love, laugh and live fully, even with grief present.

I Read thisā¦What if your greatest pain point was actually hiding the greatest gift you would ever receive?
I read it and read it about three more times, I let it sink in.
Iāve asked myself this similar question many times, because the God I believe in is full of love.
Iām certain he knows my path better than I.
But I am human, I canāt see the future before itās here.
All I can see is where I currently am, and the experiences Iāve had thus far.
Loss showed me every piece of me, especially the pieces I didnāt want to see.
They were staring me in the face waiting for me to respond, waiting for me to trust, waiting for me to choose.
And no matter what I chose, I was going to have to trust that it was what I needed to do.
A gift? It certainly felt like hell at the time.
Loss is an individual experience, we donāt all process the same nor the same time line.
We process the best we can with what we have with each moment, and I understand that to my core. āPainfullyā
My life no longer resembled the one we had built, and I am no longer the same woman.
I donāt think this question is saying what I went through was a gift.
Because I wouldnāt call losing someone I loved a gift.
But Iām able to see now that something beautiful came from my pain.
I know how precious every single moment is, I know we canāt get time back, I know to make certain my loved ones know what they mean to me, I know Iām here to serve.
Those things may have always been true.
But after loss they are felt.
And so maybe thatās the gift.
Not the loss itself but who I became because I had to walk through it.

Our life slowed down Thursday as this little ball of the most vibrant energy heals.
I made the decision to have her fixed āspayedā on Thursday.
I was so grateful to get her home and start her recovery, they say about 2 weeks to fully recover.
It has been a while since Raven had this procedure, so I really couldnāt remember the process.
It was sweet how Raven checked her over as soon as we brought her home.
These recovery shirts instead of the cone option to keep her from licking her surgical area are AMAZING, worth every penny and I highly recommend.
Trudy had that cone off faster than I could put it on.š
Iām happy to report sheās wagging her tail and giving all the kisses and snuggles once again.
Iām not really sure how she feels about the shirt but sheās tolerating it.
If you know her she has eyes that say everything without saying anything.š
So the rest of this recovery will be āexcitingā while trying to keep her lowkey for the next 11 days.š¤
Anyway that the tea on my girl Trudy.š„°

You can either be the temperature and adjust yourself to the roomā¦
Or you can be the thermostat and maintain your energy regardless of the roomā¦

When we focus on whatās happening next, we miss out on the nowā¦..Gabby Bernstein
This has been such a practice this past year for me.
Living ahead and or behind doesnāt serve me nor my peace.
My past has actually created a new version of me and for that Iām grateful.
One that knows her faith, her strength, and her power.
So when I look back I definitely can measure certain areas of growth and be grateful to be where I am today.
Iām learning not to live there, nor am I constantly focused on whatās coming next.
Thereās something so powerful about being fully here.
In the moment, in this life and this version of me.
Because when I remain present, Iām not only creating more peace in my life, Iām also more intentional on the life Iām creating.
Sending Love Always!š
