How fitting that on St.Pattys Day, that I get the chance to put the limest of greens in someone’s hair! I am kicking myself for forgetting the before as we had purple hanging on in her ends😅

Raccoon tails offer so much to a color (IMO). They add instant s***k, and something so eye catching.
I would absolutely love to do so many more of these cool tails, on vivid colors and in natural colors.

So with my dear friend Brooke, you may have seen her hair on here a time or two, well she tends to break one of the most important rules for vivid colors. She likes to wash her hair with warm water (most of the time) 😱 Trust me, I know, it’s a big no no 🚫

But sometimes, I am able to make colors fit your lifestyle.

We stick with darker, richer colors that tend to fade out more naturally. When she’s ready for a change, we shift the colors using the wonderful color wheel. 🌈 She is also in the salon just about every 3 to 4 weeks for a refresh. And when we do switch up the whole vibe of her hair, which is expected, we know most times it takes a journey. We listen to the hair, and make sure to keep those ends healthy with trims often. 💇‍♀️

So at the end of the day, vivid hair care rules are super important, and I will continue to educate my clients on the reasons behind hair care with vivids. But if you don’t mind coming in on a regular basis because you don’t mind it fading faster, I may let you break a few rules 😉
