💜 Another great morning with BNI Success Alliance!

We had a full meeting this week with celebrations, some great BNI lessons, and a special leadership transition as we wrapped up another chapter year.

🎓 Congratulations to Tucker Kemp with Sherwood Palm & Tree Healthcare on completing the Member Success Program! Tucker shared how much the relationships he has built through Success Alliance have already meant to him and his family. It was a great reminder that BNI relationships can extend far beyond business.

🎤 Congratulations to our 30-Second Presentation winner, Brooke Townsend with Accurate Employer Solutions! Brooke gave us a great example of getting specific with our referral asks. This week, she’s looking for an introduction to the owner of Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital in Seminole.

🌟 We also welcomed BNI Director Consultant Micah Thompson, owner of Gulf & Bay Marine, for a special featured presentation.

Micah encouraged us to embrace the “planned randomness” of BNI. Sometimes our best referral partners aren’t the people we expect them to be.

His message was that BNI helps us fast-forward the process of building community and trust through consistent meetings, one-to-ones, education, and relationships. He also reminded us to look beyond our own chapter and take advantage of the connections available throughout the larger BNI Tampa Bay network.

His advice was simple: keep hitting singles. Small, consistent actions add up.

Our featured presenters this week were Dr. Natasha Rados with Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and Forrest Boles with Professional Roof Technology.

🦷 Dr. Rados shared the personal story that inspired her to become a dentist and how that experience shaped the way she cares for her patients today. Her comprehensive approach looks beyond simply fixing a dental problem to understanding the root cause and creating comfortable, predictable and long-lasting results.

🏢 Forrest gave us a behind-the-scenes look at what sets Professional Roof Technology apart. His team emphasizes detailed scopes of work, protecting the property throughout the project, documenting their work and doing things the right way. A great referral for Forrest is a property manager responsible for a commercial building with a roof around 15 years old or older.

🏆 Congratulations to Susan Luca, this week’s 30-Second Presentation Winner, representing Tony Brynildsen with McCloud Gutter Protection! Susan reminded us that poor drainage and missing or inadequate gutters can create problems well beyond one property. When water isn’t being directed where it belongs, Tony is the person to call.

Today’s meeting was a good reminder that strong businesses and strong relationships don’t happen just by showing up. They’re built by making the days count, having meaningful conversations, passing quality referrals, and continuing to help one another grow.

📚 Lifelong Learning
Zach shared the new BNI Tampa portal at portal.bnitampa.com, where members can view their personal traffic lights, stats, E-Squared activity, and even see what they can work on to move closer to green. A great tool for keeping ourselves accountable and continuing to build the chapter.

🎓 Congratulations to Jennifer Kidwell of The Kidwell Group on graduating from Passport to Success today!

🏆 Congratulations to Tom Russell of US Maintenance Corp. for winning this week’s 30-second presentation!

Tom gave everyone an easy referral to remember: someone with a galley kitchen. He described it as one of those narrow kitchens where, if one person is in there, the other practically has to wait for them to come out before going in.

If you know someone who is tired of their small, cramped kitchen and would love to open it up and create a more spacious, functional space, think Tom Russell and US Maintenance Corp.

🎤 Featured Presenter: Arianna Franklin | Always Best Care

Arianna celebrated a BNI milestone today, cutting the red ribbon before her very first feature presentation for Always Best Care!

She shared the personal story behind why she works alongside her mom and why helping families navigate care means so much to her.

Always Best Care provides in-home personal care, respite care, post-surgical support, transportation to appointments, VA-supported services, long-term care insurance support, and more. One of their biggest differentiators is that they do not require a minimum number of care hours.

Arianna also highlighted the GUIDE program for qualifying individuals with dementia and traditional Medicare Parts A and B, which can provide 76 hours of home care at no cost to the family.

Her biggest takeaway was simple: families do not have to figure all of this out alone. If someone needs help staying happy, healthy, and at home, Always Best Care can help guide them.

🎤 Featured Presenter: Tom Russell | US Maintenance Corp.

With 50 years of experience, Tom showed us what goes into doing home remodeling the right way.

He walked us through a kitchen remodel that involved removing a load-bearing wall, installing temporary support, rerouting plumbing and electrical, and rebuilding the space exactly the way the homeowners wanted it.

He also shared some great examples of why experience, planning, proper insurance, and accountability matter when hiring a contractor. US Maintenance Corp. focuses on residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, and other improvements throughout the home.

Patrik Jones | FL Five Star Lawn Care 🌿

Patrik gave us a look at just how much goes into keeping a property looking its best. We saw some impressive before-and-after transformations and learned about everything from routine lawn maintenance and proper mowing patterns to large cleanouts, invasive vine and overgrowth removal, landscaping, trimming, w**d control, and seasonal leaf and pollen cleanup.

His goal is simple: give homeowners a beautiful, well-maintained outdoor space while giving them back the time they would have spent taking care of it themselves.

Jamie Meyer | Meyer Insurance & Financial Services 🏡

Jamie helped simplify the conversation around life insurance and the many ways it can protect families and businesses. He covered how much coverage someone may need, term versus permanent insurance, employer-provided coverage, insuring children, and using life insurance for business continuity.

One of the biggest takeaways: If someone depends on you financially, life insurance is a conversation worth having.

Getting married, buying a home, having a baby, buying or starting a business, or entering a business partnership can all be great times to review coverage.

This week’s Core Value came from Larry Herskowitz, who talked about Building Relationships and why those relationships are really the foundation of Givers Gain. People do business with people they know, like and trust.

Mickey Keenan shared our Purpose & Overview and how BNI has evolved for him over the years. What originally started as a way to find clients and learn how to network has grown into a trusted network of people he can rely on personally, professionally, and when connecting his own clients with great local businesses.

For Lifelong Learning, Zach Cudizio reminded us that when you need a substitute, choosing the right person can create an opportunity for everyone. A great sub represents your business well, comes prepared, and may even make valuable new connections of their own.
