Saying Goodbye To Tipping

Please remember to book out multiple appointments this coming year so you're guaranteed a spot! I book out many months ahead, and do my best to squeeze folks in. I am but a singular person and work/life balance will be a priority for me this year. If you do not pre book, or if you no-show/late cancel you will be responsible for scheduling your next appointment online by visiting my website.

I will no longer be staying late or arriving early for appointments. I may offer you VIP services which has an up-charge for working outside my posted hours.

New Year, New Adventure!

Why go tip-less? Providing hair services is a specialized profession that often requires several years of study in order to achieve official licensing. Because of this, many stylists and other beauty professionals rightfully see themselves as craftspeople and artists.

I am joining many other salon owners by going tip-less. Service pricing in 2022 will reflect the total worth of my services. The new pricing shouldn't look much different from your previous payments after gratuity is added.

My goal for eliminating gratuity is to have a more relaxing experience for both myself and you as a guest. It provides me with a more stable income, allows me to reduce fees, and it takes away any awkwardness or pressure many feel when it comes to how much to tip.

What to expect. At the end of our time together check out will still be as usual. Try not to let the disappearance of tipping options cause you any stress. It's okay to not tip me.

Can I still tip you? My new motto is tipping is appreciated but never expected. Cash tips will still be allowed, but know that my new pricing means I am no longer dependent on gratuity. Leaving a cash tip is a show of appreciation, one that is not expected.

I will no longer have retail for sale. The majority of professional hair care brands have been bought out by the biggest companies in our industry. You can now purchase all available retail online which leaves salons doing unnecessary heavy lifting, and shelves full of retail. Until I find a brand with politics, and ingredients that I wish to support I will not be restocking my inventory. Any retail currently on my shelves is still for sale while supplies last.
