We’re excited to share Fillaree’s 2025 Annual Waste Recovery Report + Mid-Year 2026 Update 🌱
From January 2025 through July 2026, together with our recovery partners, we:
✨ Completed 10 scheduled waste recovery pickups
✨ Diverted approximately 9,300 lbs (4.65 tons) from landfill
✨ Recovered 1,450+ lbs of difficult-to-recycle plastics
✨ Composting helped return approximately 350 lbs of organic material to the soil
✨ Recovered approximately 6,500 lbs of paper, cardboard, glass, metals & traditional recyclables
✨ Expanded creative reuse partnerships
✨ Established a new ByFusion partnership for multilayer lye bags
But the numbers are only part of the story.
Our goal is to keep materials in circulation for as long as possible — transforming waste into compost, recycled feedstock, construction materials, creative resources, and products with a second life.
Make → Use → Dispose doesn’t have to be the only way. 🌎

Looking through old photos of our refillers always gets us a little emotional. 💚

Many of these faces have been with us since the very beginning—back when Fillaree was just an idea, a dream, and a belief that there had to be a better way.

What moves us most is knowing that every time a new refiller walks through our doors, we’re meeting someone whose photo we’ll look back on years from now. Someone helping shape this community. Someone choosing a different future.
