The word “asali” means “honey” in Swahili. My intention for Asali Hair Braiding is to encourage women of all ethnic backgrounds, all hair textures, to be sweet on themselves. - in other words, give grace and grace will be granted unto you. You achieve this by taking caring of YOU FIRST. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thus having more room to pour sweeeeetness (honey) onto others 😉
