Matthew spent the weekend celebrating his brother, Andrew and new sister-in-law who he loves! He also got to see a lot of the loyal Matthew & Co customers which we are grateful for! When Matthew & Company began, it wasn’t built from a business plan.
It began from love, necessity, and a deep belief that adults with disabilities deserve meaningful work, dignity, purpose, and belonging.
Our son Matthew has a disability, and like many families, we wondered what meaningful adulthood and community could look like. We wanted more than busy work — we wanted real opportunities where gifts could be seen and contributions valued.
About 18 months ago, that small dream became Matthew & Company.
Today, our handmade goat milk soaps, shower steamers, and hand & body washes are carefully packaged and prepared with the help of our local team. What started as “just soap” has become something much deeper: purpose, confidence, connection, and community.
Because of your support through online orders, events, shares, and encouragement, this mission continues to grow — now reaching customers online and in our store locations in Rochester and Baraboo.
