Good Evening Hairy Family, 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Ingrown hairs can happen for several reasons and hair removal is only one part of the picture.
Other common causes include:
✨ Dry skin that traps the hair under the surface
✨ Dead skin buildup blocking the follicle
✨ Curly or coarse hair that naturally grows back toward the skin
✨ Shaving too frequently, which cuts the hair at the surface
This is why estheticians often recommend consistent exfoliation, moisturizing the skin, and choosing hair removal methods that remove hair from the root, like sugaring.
Healthy skin helps hair grow out the way it’s supposed to.
Progress over perfection, always 💛
This event was so amazing 🥰

Hands on Class: DIY Deodorant and Body scrub ✨💛
Just a gentle reminder to my Hairy Goddesses and Hairy Guys🫶🏽:
Sugaring is a team effort. Your Esty Bestie can be very thorough when removing your hair , but what happens after your appointment matters just as much!✨ Skipping aftercare, over exfoliating, tight clothing, or shaving between visits can lead to ingrowns and bumps even when the sugar service itself was done thoroughly.
As we head into the new year, consistency is key ✨
Sticking to your appointments, following aftercare suited to your skin, and giving your skin time to adjust helps hair grow back softer and reduces ingrowns over time.
I’m always happy to help extract and guide you, but trusting the process makes everything easier for both of us 💛
New year, smoother habits not perfection, just consistency.

✨Goddess to Goddess let’s be real for a second…💛
Here are 10 beauty & hygiene tips that actually changed the game:
1️⃣ Cotton underwear… or none 😭 (let her BREATHE).
2️⃣ Exfoliating your body at least 3-4 times a week helps a lot if you’re prone to ingrowns.
3️⃣ Consistent Sugaring hair removal > random shaving.
4️⃣ Drink water like it’s your job.
5️⃣ Don’t pick ingrowns or breakouts period (I know it’s hard 😩).
6️⃣ Wash makeup brushes regularly. Tbh I know this one can be tricky for some of us lol (your skin will thank you).
7️⃣ Sleep matters more than most products.
8️⃣ If you do shave please change razors often (rusty razors are very harmful to your skin).
9️⃣ Loose clothing after hair removal = less irritation.
🔟 Stress doesn’t always start in your head it shows up in your body and skin first. My arm locking up was a clear reminder.
Now your turn 👀✨
What’s ONE beauty or hygiene tip you swear by?
Drop it below you might help another woman (or younger girl) out as we transition into the New Year 🫶🏽💛
I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.

✨ Why Chin Ingrowns & Bumps Happen ✨
If you’ve removed chin hair and still see bumps or texture, you’re not alone this is very common.
✨Here’s why it happens:
• Chin hair is often hormone driven, so it grows thicker and more coarse.
• Past shaving or tweezing can cause hairs to grow back blunt and curl under.
• Dead skin buildup can trap new hair.
• The chin is a high movement area, which increases irritation.
✨How long until sugaring helps?
1–2 sessions: skin feels calmer, but bumps may still be present.
3 -4 consistent sessions
(every 4–6 weeks): hair grows finer, ingrowns reduce.
3–6 months: noticeable improvement in texture and clarity.
Consistency is key sugaring works best when your skin has time to relearn how hair grows.
💛 Chin bumps are normal. Progress takes patience, not perfection.
Consistency + patience = healthier skin over time!
