A lived in home 🏠
I love how quickly I can tidy up our entry. It can take me just a few seconds to toss shoes into the baskets because everything that is put in that space has a spot near that space. Right around the corner is our room that’s always in motion: the kitchen! I have a tendency to drop things on the counter (rightfully so! There are many multitasking moments around here). We are grateful to God for our home and this space that gets used all day everyday.

What’re you grateful for today?



For me I’m grateful for:
-The coffee I’m able to drink while journaling
-the debt that I’ve paid off because of determination
-solid friendships & the courage to walk away from those who don’t value my friendship
-my natural hair that I can throw into a bun while I do my make up.

No more excuses unless you want to stay right where you are.
I used to start over. Again and again. I used to say, “Someday!” But once I shifted my mindset and started developing goals that were {reachable} everything changed.
If you’re at square 1 it’s ok. We’ve all been at square 1. IF you keep starting over some excuse is stopping you from succeeding. Are you being realistic? Are the goals too massive? Break it down & take the baby steps. No more excuses unless you want to stay right where you are.

Gone fishin, & I caught 3!
First catch was a cod fish I couldn’t keep, second catch was a crab that I didn’t keep, & third was this fish 😊
Try new things, put your phone down and truly soak up the moment. It’s most likely going to be worth it!

Wearing my “short-shorts” while I can because it’s almost time for teacher dress code 🔙2️⃣📚
Here are a few random things about me as a teacher!
1) I’m going into my fourth year of teaching, second year of kindergarten.
2) I’ve only taught at one school.
3) I got hired 10 days post college, and for those 10 days I felt like I was never going to get a job 😂
4) The principal that hired me was actually my principal when I was 6.
5) I work 8:20-4:10 & then unplug, go home, & enjoy tons of activities outside of teaching.

I went into my classroom today for the first time since the last day of school. Guys I made it 41 days unplugged, not thinking about teaching 💪🏼

This means I’ll be recharged and ready to teach my 20 new kinders 🌲

Food is fuel ⚡️
If you jumped on my live yesterday or saw my IG TV clip on food, you know that food can either push you towards your goals or away from them.
Today I packed food in my new little thermos from Target. All I did was heat up the food and it’s good to go!
I’m committed to staying ahead on food prep so that I can fuel my body for the results I want.
Stay tuned! I’m going to share a before picture with you aka a right now pic, & one in a few weeks to show the progress of fueling properly.
