❗️CLUSTER LASH POST❗️

Thursday I spent some time removing the lashes in the top picture.

This is why it’s SO IMPORTANT to invest in your education. Do your research into good training, pay for expensive classes and make your clients health a priority! This is one reason why I decide to offer classes. Lash education is SO important!

They were:
•Clusters advertised as extensions
• Not properly isolated (multiple natural lashes attached to one cluster)
•Waaayyy too heavy for the natural lashes to support
•Dirty (not the clients fault, from tech who didn’t properly isolate leading to the inability to properly clean them)

After removing, the natural lashes underneath were damaged to the point where another set was not possible. On average, we have 90-160 lashes per eye. This client was left with approximately 20 per eye and those lashes were thin and a noodle-like consistency.

Clusters are pre-made bundles of lashes that are meant to be applied with STRIP LASH GLUE and removed after one day of use. When used with lash extension glue that hangs on for weeks, it causes the massive weight of the cluster to eventually pull out the natural lashes and cause irreparable damage.

✨Did you know lash extensions come in different weights, lengths, and curls? ✨

When properly applied, the extension will match the density of the natural lash and not exceed 3 mm past the natural lashes length, therefore creating a safe environment for the natural lashes to continue to grow and thrive WITH lash extensions on them.

Hello everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Andrea Newberry (Doedtman) and I am the founder and current owner of Master Lash Beauty Bar & Academy!

I currently hold multiple certificates from award winning brand for lash lifting, lash extensions, brows enhancements, and permanent brows.

I also hold positions as a USA Elleebana Lash Lift Trainer and a TLA Lash Extension Trainer.

I created Master Lash:
•To be a center for artists to come together and share their passion for all things lashes and brows
•To give clients a space where they can receive safe, top tier lash and brow services
•To create a positive learning environment to share my knowledge and passion for the industry with my students

With years of experience behind me, I’m confident I can bring top of the line services and education to the Effingham area!
