👣🦶Toenail Reconstruction with Nanoflex. I’ve been meaning to talk about this lately. As of late and super trendy, we now see an influx of Acrylic Toe sets and although they look “Perfect” and can be gorgeous…..are they what’s best for your toes??! Simply put, No. As I said before, on healthy toenails, with proper maintenance and correct after care they can be fine…temporarily. But long term and especially for “Toenail Reconstruction” it’s a No. My honest opinion, if you put toenail reconstruction and acrylic toes in the same sentence….its a 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩. How are you checking to make sure everything is good with the damaged Nail or nails? How are we taking preventative measures against fungus or bacteria developing underneath the enhancement? What is the aftercare plan? A Toenail Reconstruction is not putting an acrylic full set over someone who clearly needs more attention/ professional/ specialized care. 😩 It’s OK to say No if it’s not in your scope. That’s ok. I say No all the time. I refer out all the time. Now, There are so many amazing high grade, Podiatrist recommended Gels formulated just for TOES and toenail reconstruction. @lcnusa and @gehwolfootcare have some. The one I use in this video is NANOFLEX by FUZION. They are NON- porous, do not absorb water and are typically formulated to be antifungal in nature since they are made for toes that go in dark, damp areas (shoes & socks) A lot of people don’t know this. But if you care about feet and you truly value the health of anyone whom you are doing pedicure/toe services on, I highly recommend you take a course to further your education on this.
