I’m so excited to spotlight Kimby’s Corner, owned by Kim Bacon, and give a huge thank-you to Kim for supporting the Strong Will Women’s Health Summit!

Kim has been a Registered Nurse since 1996 and a Nurse Practitioner since 2010.
She has been practicing aesthetic injectables since receiving her certification from Empire Medical in 2014.

While Kim works full-time at the VA, aesthetics is something she truly loves doing on the side.
She offers Botox and fillers and can host Botox parties.

But what I love most about Kim is the person she is.
She is an absolute sweetheart and genuinely one of the most selfless people I know.

I’m so grateful to have women like her supporting this event and our community.

Client Spotlight: Dr. Brooke Jones-Cannon

Dr. Brooke Jones-Cannon has been my friend a client of Strong Will Fitness for years — and her story is a powerful example of what’s possible when strength training and nutrition become part of a demanding life, not separate from it.

As a practicing optometrist in Elizabethton, Dr. Jones-Cannon manages a full-scope practice — ocular disease, surgical pre- and post-op care, vision therapy — all while navigating her own autoimmune health challenges.
Between patient care, family life and a packed schedule, she’s built a sustainable approach to strength training and nutrition that supports her body through flares, keeps her energy consistent, and lets her show up fully for her patients and her family.

Her journey is proof that health isn’t about perfect conditions — it’s about building habits that hold up under real life.

Meet Kim Hall Speaking at the Strong Will Summit

Kim has been one of my longest clients and also a friend— I was actually her hygienist for 18 years before I ever became her coach.

Watching her build a career, raise a family, and lead her community while still showing up for her health is exactly why I wanted her on this stage.
Here’s her story, in her own words:

Kim Hall is a Managing Director at Citi, where she also serves as the Site Head for the company’s Service Center in Gray, Tennessee, a facility with over 1,700 employees.

Her journey with Citi began in 1988, a path she initially took to support herself through college.

It was there she discovered a deep-seated passion for process improvement and automation, which has defined her nearly four-decade career.

After graduating from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Accounting, Kim has held numerous leadership roles across the organization, consistently driving operational excellence and earning accolades such as the Chairman’s Leadership Award twice.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Kim is a dedicated community leader.
She served as the 2025 Chair for the Johnson City, Jonesborough, and Washington County Chamber of Commerce and sits on several local boards, including the ETSU Foundation, Summit Leadership Foundation, and Coalition for Kids (~25 years).

A longtime resident of Gray, Kim’s greatest joy is her family.

She and her husband are blessed with three daughters, two sons-in-law, a beautiful, feisty granddaughter, and a new grandson.
Their family also includes two amazing labradors.

To stay active and recharge, Kim enjoys spending summers on the lake and hitting the slopes for snow skiing in the winter.
