Live Well Tip of the Week:
You need minerals✨🌿🤍

Live Well Tip of the Week✨🌿🤍
You need minerals. And yes, that is a blanket statement for everyone. You’re likely not getting enough from your diet, and when you drink a ton of purified/filtered water, you’re flushing out the very thing that actually keeps you hydrated: trace minerals and electrolytes.
That said, I highly recommend using some form of trace mineral drops or putting a small amount of high quality sea salt in your water every day.
I’ve been doing this daily for a few years, and it’s become a non-negotiable for me. The practice of intentionally adding small amounts of minerals to your diet can help you stay hydrated easier, improve your energy levels, decrease headache/migraine frequency and severity, as well as improve the way your body operates on a cellular level. If you’re in a stressful season right now, this is even more important. Our bodies burn through our mineral stores much faster when we have to cope with stress; therefore, regular replenishment is crucial.
Salt is not dangerous. High quality sea salt or pink Himalayan salt don’t dehydrate you or raise your blood pressure. In fact, it is medicine that can actually help your body heal, recover, and maintain more efficiently.
Seriously, just try it. The products I recommend to everyone are linked in my Amazon storefront below under ‘salt & mineral recommendations’ if you’re interested in adding trace minerals to your daily routine 🫶🏼

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is break out of your routine.
I know I’m usually the person encouraging you to get into a routine of good habits, but today isn’t just about that. When you get into a routine for so long, it’s very possible for it to start feeling mundane or for you to even feel burnt out.
While I’m a firm believer that daily routines and rhythms are very important, I also believe it’s necessary to do things outside of your routine from time to time.
If you’re someone who always cooks at home, it’s okay to shake it up and choose to go out sometimes. Maybe you’ve been doing the same type of workout for so long — you’re allowed to switch it up and choose to go for a bike ride or hike at a county park rather than going to the gym day after day. If your schedule is full of the stuff you ‘have to do’ rather than the things you ‘want to do’, you can and should break away from that to spend time with friends, lean into your hobbies, or finally discover what you actually enjoy doing.
I like to exist in a routine, but I also need to break out of it sometimes in order to keep living a life I truly enjoy. Here are a few things I personally do when I need to shake it up:
Sometimes I walk outside rather than on my walking pad.
Some weeks my bible study group meets in my swimming pool rather than my living room.
Some days I prefer slow, cozy mornings rather than getting my chores done immediately.
I like to lean into creativity every week. Sometimes that looks like writing, other times it’s trying a new recipe, creating content, redecorating my house, or junk journaling.
Some mornings I crave a matcha latte while others I prefer a hot herbal tea.
Life doesn’t have to be black and white. Your routine doesn’t have to be all or nothing. I won’t deny that consistency is key, but being consistent doesn’t mean walking in a perfectly straight line. Go live a little!✨🎉

Live Well Tip of the Week:
You’re allowed to deny the things that a doctor suggests to you✨🌿🤍
Live Well Tip of the Week✨🌿🤍
You’re allowed to deny the things that a doctor suggests to you.
You don’t have to take every prescription, move forward with every procedure, or do every little thing that they suggest.
All of this to say: you’re allowed to do your own research on the drugs, on your bloodwork results, & on the procedure before blindly following whatever they say. You’re allowed to ask questions, to seek out a natural alternative instead, to get another opinion before moving forward, to fight your way to healing on your own.
You can & should advocate for yourself. Sometimes the best way to live well is to listen to your gut & stand up for yourself 🫶🏼
Whatever you do, wherever you are, no matter what job you do, your ultimate purpose is to know God & to make Him known✨✝️🙌🏼

Your God-given purpose is less about what you do & more about your heart posture while doing it.
We all have likely asked God & ourselves what our purpose is, but it’s not always nicely laid out before us. If you’re in a space right now of asking what your purpose is or if you’re doing enough for God’s Kingdom, I’d like to encourage you today with this:
You don’t find your purpose or identity in your career path, in your current situation, or in your circumstances; but rather, your identity is found in Christ alone.
I’ve heard people say, “I don’t know who I am anymore if I can’t be an athlete, a police officer, a doctor, a musician, a writer, etc.” While some may believe that their purpose is found in being or doing those things, in reality, their purpose is more about their heart posture while doing it.
You can do anything, be anything, have any job, & God can & will use you right where you are, if you let Him. When you understand that your TRUE purpose is to know God & make Him known, then that will be your ultimate heart posture going into anything that you may do.
That said, you don’t have to stand at the pulpit in order to share the gospel. You don’t have to post videos like this one in order to encourage someone in their faith journey. You don’t have to go to another country for missions in order to serve others.
Wherever you are, whatever you do, no matter what job you have, your ultimate purpose is living for God & moving closer to Him. Whether you’re working your dream job or you’re not where you’d like to be yet, you can spread the gospel, share your faith, & serve others around you.
The key is having a heart posture that reflects Jesus, no matter where you are or what you’re doing✨💞
I love you & Jesus does too 🫶🏻
