Well, it’s time to finally say it out loud…
Glow Job Spray Tans by Cupcake Carly is moving to Mesa, Arizona.
And I want to make something very clear for the ones who like to hop on the rumor train: this is NOT a failed business. This is a growing business. I cannot grow in the Elko box. If you know, you know.

Glow Job started here in Elko with a little idea, a spray gun, a lot of faith, and some pretty big dreams. What started small became something I’m genuinely proud of. I’ve met incredible women, made friendships, laughed until my stomach hurt, and watched this little business become something REAL. It popped off so fast and gave me the confidence behind my decision. AND I love it. I have a passion for women feeling good in the skin they are in. Women are under a lot of pressure and the same pressures….I love sharing my journey and making anyone feel comfortable in my tent..

So leaving Elko isn’t easy.

But I’m almost 40 years old, and I’ve reached a point in my life where I’m not willing to settle for “good enough” anymore. I know myself. I’m an overachiever. I want to learn everything I possibly can, and I want to be surrounded by people who are just as serious about what they’re doing as I am and willing to put the time into me.The esthetics program here in Elko simply isn’t the right environment for the kind of education and experience I’m looking for. And instead of lowering my expectations, I’m choosing to raise the bar.
Mesa gives me the opportunity to attend a highly regarded esthetics program, continue building my education, and take Glow Job with me as I grow into the next version of myself. That’s what this move is about. Growth. Education. Opportunity. And believing that it’s never too late to start building something bigger. I have been in blue collar since I was 18 years old starting at Boeing. I’m ending my blue collar badassery in mining and going for something completely different. I’m not scared, I’m excited…

And I absolutely cannot talk about leaving without talking about The Babe Cave.

The The BABE CAVEgave Glow Job a HOME. They welcomed me in, supported me, believed in me, and gave me a place to build my business when I needed it most. They were nothing but wonderful to me, and I will forever be grateful for the time I spent there and continuing life long friendships. I watched the business run as I waited for my next, I surrounded myself in some incredible, I mean INCREDIBLE women. Women who inspired me to leap for this regardless of it meaning I have to move. Women who have worked their ass off to get where they are. Women who have perfected a craft as I say. Women who share the same vision of confidence. Beauty is a craft and running a business while being moms and wives, how empowering to watch…Moving out of The Babe Cave will be bittersweet, because it represents so much of the journey that got me here.

And to Elko…

Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for letting me spray you before weddings, vacations, concerts, rodeos, festivals, date nights and all the “I need to be HOT this weekend” or because I’m feeling down and a tan and some s**t talking is all I need..Thank you for having my back with some local haters. Like no words. Thank you for giving ME the confidence in “I got this” because while I was boosting your confidence, guess what you were low key building mine…You helped me build Glow Job. Elko will always be where Glow Job was born, and I will never forget that. But sometimes growth means having the courage to leave what you know and go after what you want. So this isn't goodbye to the dream.
It's the dream getting bigger!

September 1st will be my last day at the Babe Cave, the next couple weeks are going to be crazy as I’m selling everything we own including our house, my calendar is open but I won’t be there unless I have a appointment…and still follow my page..the content is only going to get riskier because well, why not. So keep following, keep stalking, keep creeping!!! And if your cherries are in the Mesa areas. You know where to get that tan!!! Until next time…

One of my favorite things about owning Glow Job is watching women walk through my door thinking they're "not the type" to get a spray tan. Too pale. Too curvy. Too skinny. Too old. Too young. Too covered in freckles. Too covered in stretch marks.

Then they look in the mirror afterward... and something changes. It's never been about hiding who you are. It's about seeing yourself in a different light.
I've sprayed women getting ready for their wedding day, grandmas going on vacation, moms who just wanted to feel pretty again, rodeo queens, rave babes, pageant girls, women celebrating birthdays, and women who simply wanted to do something nice for themselves on a random Tuesday.
Every single one of them deserved to feel beautiful before they ever walked through my door. The spray tan didn't make them beautiful. It just helped them see what was already there. So if you've been telling yourself you're "not the type"...
You are.
There's no age requirement.
No weight requirement.
No perfect body requirement.
Just come as you are.

Don't let the cat fool you... she's actually full of good advice!
A beautiful spray tan starts before you ever step into the tent. Here's how to get the longest-lasting, most even glow:
✨ Book 2 days before your event so your tan has time to fully develop and settle. And if our hormones are crazy, I offer a free touch up after 24 hours. Our hormones love to reject spray tan (weird) but I offer my free touch up because it happens to me also..
🚿 Wait 6–10 hours before your first rinse (or follow your custom rinse time if I gave you one).
💧 Moisturize every day to keep your skin hydrated and help your tan fade evenly. Along with staying as hydrated as possible!
🌡️ Skip hot showers and harsh soaps—lukewarm water and sulfate-free body wash are your best friends.

A little prep and aftercare can add several extra days to your spray tan and keep it looking fresh instead of patchy.
