Cry out, so you can come out!

I received a powerful word from the Holy Spirit this morning in my bible study time! God is so good! And I don’t know who needs to hear this, BUT you are NEVER too far from God!

There is nowhere you can go that He can’t see you or hear your prayers. Even if you wanted to try to hide 🫣 … you can’t. He is El Roi — the God who sees!

Jonah was in no man’s land, in the belly of the whale… in his distress, in his disobedience, trying to hide from God. Yet God not only saw him (He caused the whale to swallow him), but He heard and answered him! (He made the whale release Jonah on land.)Jonah said:
“I cried by reason of my affliction unto the Lord, and He heard me; out of the belly of hell I cried, and Thou heard my voice.” (Jonah 2:2)

It’s a lot to unpack from just that alone — the character of God! He’s faithful to us even when we aren’t faithful to Him. He keeps His promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Psalm 107:6 says:“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress.”

Just like Jonah, God may have given you an instruction — to move, to go, to do something. You know exactly what it is. Avoiding it won’t change it.

You can’t run and hide from God. He is El Roi! Storms are inevitable. Sometimes they come because of life’s seasons, sometimes because of our own choices, and sometimes because we’ve been pulled into someone else’s storm. But here’s the promise: even in the darkest storm, God sees us. Even when the waves are crashing and the sky is black, His eyes are on us. El Roi — the God who sees — doesn’t turn away. He hears our cry, and He delivers us.

Somebody needs this word today. Somebody is running from the world, from their problems, from God’s instructions. You may have gotten yourself into a mess, but God wants to hear from you. He already knows all about it, so you might as well talk to Him! Stop running from God & start running towards him! Stop trying to hide so He can deliver you out of that darkness. Cry out to Him NOW.

Yes — CRY OUT, so you can COME OUT!
