As a coach, you spend more time with these kids than your family, 5 days a week. They become part of your life, and over 4 years, they are almost like your kids. There are moments when events transpire that take your heart and put it in you throat, and emotion takes over. This was one of these for me tonight. 2 seniors girls...best friends...great leaders...hugging in sorrow and joy over the girls long jump. One qualified for state, the other was 5th. But they were more worried about congratulating and consoling their friend. I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t see through the tears...moments like these...are worth more than any paycheck. It’s about the kids, always will be, it has to be. They, are what inspire me to be a better coach. It’s the greatest job on earth.

4 min and I transplanted 2 cilantro “starters” into our Tower Garden! Quick and easy, no mess, & endless options for produce. and, yes, we moved our TG outside...we love that it’s moveable depending on the season!

How sweet this is 😁 .
