❤️ Celebrating 50 Years of Love, Family & Memories ❤️
This weekend, I had the joy of celebrating something pretty special — my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary! 🥂💍
We gathered with the people who have been part of their story through the years — family, friends, their children and grandchildren — to celebrate five decades of life together, memories made, challenges overcome, and a family built with love.
As I reflected on 50 years of marriage, I was reminded that love doesn’t always look like grand romantic gestures. Sometimes, love looks like showing up, building a life together, raising a family, working toward shared dreams, supporting one another, and simply choosing each other year after year.
It was such a beautiful reminder of why family, connection, and the people surrounding us matter so much. ❤️
At Nurturing Mama, I get to walk alongside families during some of their biggest life transitions — from preparing for a baby to recovering after birth and everything in between. And celebrations like this remind me just how quickly those years go by.
So here’s to 50 years of Mom & Dad, the family they built, and all the memories still to come! 🥂❤️

📚 Birth isn't something you should have to figure out in the moment.
Preparing for birth is about more than packing a hospital bag or writing a birth plan. It's about understanding what's happening in your body, knowing your options, and helping your birth partner feel confident supporting you through labor, delivery, and recovery.
That's why **Birth Ready & Mending Mama** was created.
Together, you'll learn:
✨ What to expect during labor and birth
✨ Comfort measures and positioning
✨ How your birth partner can provide meaningful support
✨ Physical preparation for birth
✨ Recovery after both vaginal and Cesarean births
✨ Pelvic floor and core recovery
✨ What to expect during those first weeks postpartum
An in-person class gives you the opportunity to ask questions, practice hands-on techniques, and build confidence together—something a quick online search or social media video simply can't replace.
When both mama and her support person feel prepared, everyone walks into birth with more confidence.
Because birth is one day...but the knowledge you gain can support your family long after your baby arrives. đź’š
Ready to prepare together? We'd love to have you in our next Birth Ready & Mending Mama class.

✨ You don't have to live with pelvic floor pain.
Whether it's discomfort with intimacy, aching in your pelvis, tailbone pain, hip pain, or pain that shows up when you sit, walk, or exercise, your symptoms deserve attention.
Your pelvic floor muscles are connected to so much more than bladder control. They work with your core, support your organs, and play an important role in everyday movement.
The good news? There are often gentle, effective ways to help.
At Nurturing Mama, we take the time to understand what's contributing to your symptoms and create a treatment plan that's tailored to you—because every body and every story is different.
You deserve to feel comfortable in your body again. đź’š
If you've been wondering whether pelvic floor physical therapy could help, we'd love to talk.

Waymaker Miracles is so much more than just another walk/run. It exists to support those walking the difficult journey of infertility—a mission that is deeply connected to the heart of Nurturing Mama.
Helping stuff participant bags tonight was truly a labor of love. It was such a joy to spend the evening alongside so many incredible women, sharing fellowship, encouragement, and support for one another.
Amber Boyle, thank you for your vision, your creative ideas, and your passion for bringing women together. I'm honored to be a small part of this amazing community. đź’ś

💆‍♀️Being able to provide in-home care for mamas during the pregnancy & postpartum season is something I truly love, because I know how hard it can be to leave the house while healing and caring for a newborn. Thank you for trusting me with your care and allowing me to be part of your journey.

đź’¤ Sleep after baby: why it matters for YOU, Mama
Everyone talks about the baby’s sleep… but not enough about yours.
After birth, your body is doing some of its most important work — healing tissues, regulating hormones, supporting milk production, and adjusting emotionally to a completely new rhythm of life.
And sleep is not a luxury in this season. It’s a core part of recovery.
✨ Here’s why sleep matters so much postpartum:
• Healing happens during rest – Your body repairs pelvic floor tissues, abdominal muscles, and any birth-related recovery best when you’re asleep
• Hormones reset and regulate – Sleep supports oxytocin, prolactin, and cortisol balance (all huge for mood, bonding, and milk supply)
• Emotional resilience improves – Even short stretches of rest can help reduce overwhelm and anxiety
• Pain and inflammation decrease – Better sleep can help your body manage postpartum aches and tension
• Energy for daily demands – Feeding, holding, healing, and caring for a newborn all require a lot from you
💚 And here’s the real-life truth: postpartum sleep often isn’t long or uninterrupted — so support matters more than perfection.
That can look like:
• Sleeping when baby sleeps (even short naps count)
• Accepting help from your support system
• Prioritizing rest over chores when possible
• Creating a “shift system” overnight with a partner or helper
• Protecting at least one longer rest window in 24 hours
Your healing is just as important as your baby’s care.

Sunday's **Birth Ready & Mending Mama** class was such a great day! 🤍
One of my favorite parts is watching the transformation in birth partners. Some walk in thinking they already know everything, while others admit they have no idea what to expect. No matter where they start, they leave with a better understanding, practical skills, and the confidence to truly support their partner through labor, birth, and postpartum.
When a birth partner knows *how* to help, everyone benefits—especially Mama.
I can't wait for the next class!

🤰 Feeling like your belly is pulling, your back is working overtime, or your body is changing faster than you can keep up with? Kinesiotape may be a helpful tool during pregnancy!
As your baby grows, your body adapts in amazing ways — but that can also mean extra strain on your muscles, joints, and ligaments.
✨ Kinesiotape can help support your body by:
• Providing gentle support to your growing belly
• Helping decrease the feeling of heaviness or pulling
• Supporting posture and alignment as your center of gravity changes
• Offering relief for common pregnancy discomforts like low back, SI joint, or round ligament discomfort
• Giving your muscles a little extra feedback as they work through all the changes
The best part? It’s lightweight, flexible, and allows you to keep moving while giving your body some added support.
Every mama’s body and pregnancy are different — proper application matters! A trained professional can help determine the best placement for your needs.
đź’š At Nurturing Mama, we love giving mamas tools they can use to feel more supported throughout pregnancy and beyond.
Have you tried kinesiotape during pregnancy? 👇
