Five years ago today, high school me walked in and took my state boards. Looking back, it’s hard to believe how far this journey has taken me.

I started cosmetology school during COVID, when hands-on learning was limited and I felt like I knew very little about hair. One of the biggest blessings in my career was having the opportunity to assist Haley. She taught me so much, helped me build my confidence behind the chair, and showed me the ins and outs of the industry. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without her guidance and support.

From starting at a commission salon to taking a leap of faith into booth rental with zero clients, every step has been a learning experience. Through hard work, consistency, and social media, I built my clientele from the ground up.

To everyone who has sat in my chair over the last five years, thank you. Whether you’ve been with me since day one or just recently found me, I’m so grateful you trusted me with your hair. A special thank you to those who have supported me from the beginning and allowed me to grow, learn, and improve over the years.

Owning and running a small business isn’t always easy. There have been long days, tears, moments of self-doubt, learning curves, and countless challenges along the way. But there have also been so many rewarding moments, meaningful relationships, and accomplishments that make it all worth it.
