This European brass - the Branzino - has become a family favorite! My family tries to eat fish at least twice a week. We just love it.
Branzino is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, protein and the antioxidant selenium. And while it also has less omega-3 fatty acids, it's still considered a good source and can be consumed with less risk of pollutants like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) which are five to 10 times higher in farmed fish.

I lost 45 pound with moderate exercise that included 1 mile to 6 miles walk daily (depending on my kids’ patience, busy schedule, and weather permit) , no heavy lifting or time at the gym.
I ❤️ to take walks outside in the fresh air - and encourage folks to do the same. It’s a great way to get sunlight. With some closed now due to COVID, great time to try out a new routine.
Don’t let a closed gym be an excuse to gaining COVID 15! All you need is a clear road and some darn good determination. 🙌

Did you know fish has more leucine than red meat per serving? Yup, seafood helps so many parts of your body, including muscle protein synthesis. It’s a great lean protein for athletes and too often overlooked for weight loss as well! I have been adding turmeric root in the fish for extra anti-inflammatory. It’s absolutely delicious!

Today is ! I am so happy there is a day designated for this because when I started my personal weight loss journey two years ago, I learned just how valuable vegetables are to my health! By increasing my vegetable intake to six to seven cups of daily, I not only lost weight quickly, but felt so much healthier. Vegetables of all colors are so good for your health.
For the busy professional, who may be looking for a way to eat more vegetables, green juicing has been my healthy habit. I drink two cups of spinach every morning with lemon and turmeric and can personally attest that that’s one amazing way to start your morning! The energy boost I get from my freshly blended green juice is much healthier than energy drinks and has even replaced my coffee.
According to research, most Americans do not meet federal dietary recommendations for vegetable consumption. The current 2015–2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends that people needing 2,000 calories per day include 2 cups of fruit and 2.5 cups of vegetables in their daily diets. If you are trying to lose weight or suffer from digestive discomfort like heaviness and bloating, try to eat much more - 5 to 6 cups - with plenty of water. You won’t regret it!

Another seafood favorite! Ceviche 🍤 Nutritional benefits are endless with this sophisticated dish from my grandfather’s native land of Peru! It includes raw uncooked fish as a base element, a great source of protein and poly-unsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6). ... Raw fish is also rich in minerals like zinc, selenium, phosphorus, iodine, potassium, and vitamins A, D, E and K. But fish isn't the only nutrient-rich ingredient in ceviche).

😊 Liquid aminos is a great substitute for soy sauce when attempting to make Chinese style fried rice for the family. 🥡 I used cauliflower rice instead of rice. 😁 ❤️

5. Based on the data and scientific papers I am seeing and my background in public health - we discuss COVID-19, misinformation and how to interpret predictive modeling, as well as speculation of the virus coming back in fall.
This whole interview is very data and research based because of Isabel's innate passion for public health and evidence based research. We discussed all about how we can prevent chronic disease and promote wellness.

I have read some on social media bashing Adele for sharing her before and after pictures as a form of fat-shaming. I for one applaud her as a woman - I applaud her strength, her commitment, and her determination. You have done what so many only talk about doing.
