Here’s a new product we have made in small batches for the seasonal changes. But an oxymel has so many uses so no matter how you use it, you are getting the benefits !
Oxymels are the new mocktail. But honestly most vinegar based mocktails are just too vinegary. We use local CT honey infused with goldenrod and organic apple cider vinegar infused with goldenrod for a sweet n tart even blend of a healthy elixir!

🌿 LEMONGRASS HYDROSOL IS BACK 🌿

Freshly distilled lemongrass has returned, and ohhh… it smells AMAZING. 🍋🌱

Our Lemongrass Hydrosol is made for topical use only and is one of those beautifully simple herbal preparations that can be used in so many ways.

A few ways to use it:

✨ Mist onto the skin for a fresh, uplifting botanical spritz. It’s amazing how it brightens the mood especially in the winter when we need some sunshine !
✨ Spray on arms, legs, ankles and clothing before heading outdoors — lemongrass is traditionally used as a natural bug-repelling plant
✨ Keep it nearby for gardening, farmers markets, hiking or evenings outside
✨ Mist tired feet after a long day
✨ Use as a refreshing body mist on warm days
✨ Spritz the back of the neck for that bright, clean lemongrass aroma
✨ Mist the skin after being outdoors for a cooling, refreshing botanical spray

🌿 Lemongrass is also traditionally valued for its antimicrobial and antiviral properties, making it such a wonderful herb to have in your everyday herbal toolbox.

And the scent… bright, grassy, citrusy and incredibly fresh. It smells like running your hands right through a patch of fresh lemongrass. 💚

Have you ever had an Oxymel before ? It’s a great way to get your herbs in ! This one is our high mineral medicinal vinegar/honey/ and wild blueberry blend. This year I added ramps to the mix because it was calling out . This started being made early spring and was just finished . Look at this beautiful color! It’s made in super small batches .

Our Summer Harvest Oxymel begins with apple cider vinegar infused with hand-harvested nettles, cleavers, dandelion, chickweed, violet, mugwort, and ramps. We then blend it with raw local honey and wild blueberries to create a vibrant, sweet-tart tonic that celebrates the abundance of the season.

13 years ago at the Gaia herb farm Gaia Herbs in North Carolina in their Valerian field. Ahhhhh , I can still remember how calming and tranquil this was .
I was still finding my legs in the herb world (still am) and really took in the values that they held.
Now I finally have my own space I will be implementing much of what I learned visiting 💜
