Dwell Tallow

Friends!!!!

I made a bunch of tallow before my show last month and I think some of it cooled too slowly, (I don’t have a fridge to accommodate all the batches I made so I let some of it “cool” outside.. won’t be doing that again 🤪) .. anywho, when tallow cools too slowly it can feel more grainy initially before it absorbs into the skin!!!

That being said, I’ve discounted the tallows that I think it could’ve happened to but if you find another keep me in the loop! 😉 it is all entirely safe to use, but just not what I want to happen!

It’s hard to believe we’re over halfway through May already and life just keeps flying by!

Time sure is a thief. 😣

This past month has been so jam-packed that this last week felt so good to just slow down a little! I didn’t touch any beef fat, (mostly because our fridge broke down so that really put a damper on things around here 🤣🙈) but it was nice to “chill” for a bit. 😉

Some pics of life lately that include the following:

- soaking in our obsession with all things bird related 🪺 (I should say “their” obsession.. I hate birds 😅)
- releasing a baby bunny after our dog caught it in the yard, praise God for little boys! Lol! 🐇
- homeschool field trips 🐄 🌳
- a jungle birthday party 🐍
- some trampoline snuggles.. because you gotta capture it for when the days feel long 😆

That’s enough for now! But I’ll be starting more tallow rendering soon to restock some goodies and start sharing a new one! 🫶
