📣Lauren is an Occupational Therapist who has worked for Centra for 3 and ½ years and is currently working at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She enjoys working in acute care because of the variety of diagnoses seen, use of problem-solving skills, and inter-professional collaboration required daily.

💕She chose occupational therapy for her desire to enable individuals across the lifespan to engage in the activities that mean the most to them - despite injury, illness, or disability. In her day as an acute care therapist, Lauren finds that many patients take for granted their prior independence in bathing, dressing, and mobility until they are dependent on others for assistance. 💕Through occupational therapy, Lauren strives to increase her patients' independence and engagement in those tasks that make them feel like themselves again.

Whitney has been with Centra for a little over a year and has been a great addition to our rehab family 😍
