On The Verge

Purpose here is to raise awareness as to the predatory practice of On the Verge and their exploitation of Fayetteville citizens and visitors and namely Arkansas Razorback fans. This was after On The Verge closed for the day. Returned to parking spot after the game and the car had been towed. Saw a small, knee high sign that said car will be towed if parked after business hours on game days. It said violators will have to pay the tow fee. When car was retrieved the next day, Roadside Services in Springdale charged on over $500 cash. Thank you On The Verge and Roadside Services for you warm welcome to Razorback fans. The rest of the story:

The small sign On The Verge puts out after business hours on game days says the violators are liable for the towing costs. However, a call to Roadside Services said a tow for Baum stadium to their lot would cost $182.85. Seems like On The Verge is getting a $300+ kickback on every victim. Also, based on their sign, all victims only owe for the cost of the tow, not the kickback. So On The Verge should refund all victims the difference between what Roadside Services charges the victims ($500+) and the actual cost of the tow ($182.85). Also note that there any many tow services much closer to On The Verge in Fayetteville than Roadside Services in Springdale. Seems the two are looking to maximize the penalty to Razorback fans who don't notice the small, low sign. What we need:

Please share this page to everyone you know in the Fayetteville area or visitors of Fayetteville. We are looking for other victims that are entitled to refund from On The Verge. Looking for a lawyer that might take a class action suit when more victims are found. Looking for On The Verge to refund victims the kickback amount since the sign says victim are only liable for the cost of the tow. Also, when more victims are found and more specific transactions can be validated- would like to to take this cash revenue stream for Roadside Services and On The Verge to the IRS. Would be interesting to know if On The Verge is reporting the kickbacks as revenue to the IRS.
