Yoga With Chrissy

Sorry, Tuesday friends. I must ditch you for baseball!

We've got your back 🐦

The chaturanga (or 4 limb staff pose) is not easy! It's often overlooked, skipped, or done in a way that can cause more harm than good. It's one piece of the sun salutation puzzle and when practiced correctly builds strength in the arms (especially the triceps), shoulders, upper back and core, and is extremely helpful when progressing to arm balances.
Join me at on Friday September 11th at 645pm for an in depth look at the pose, ways to start simple, modify, and improve your chaturanga, and then we'll play with some arm balances in the end. Sign up at trianglerockclub.com

Q: What's your weird random skill?

Happy International Yoga Day (plus 1 day). Taught an outdoor class saluting the sun and setting nourishing intentions. And of course pulled a card from my Affirmations for a Badass deck. ✌🏼💚🕉

☀️Bring on SUMMER! This Sunday the 21st is the summer solstice & International Yoga Day!! I'll be leading my usual 9am class and then the 1015am class will be taught outside! Come salute the sun and solidify some intentions. PLUS we have yoga shirts for sale for $20 to celebrate. You may purchase them all this week through Sunday.

Saturday at 1015am I'll be leading a clinic all about arm balances! We'll warm up all the necessary muscles and chat about why chaturangas are your best friend, and then put your strength to the test. All levels are welcome and I will give very beginner instructions so everyone can have an awesome experience. See you on the 9th at
