As I was praying the night before, the Lord led me to pray for three specific things:

- Peace over my bride: wedding mornings can be crazy, and nerves can be high so being a peaceful presence in the room can help calm anxiety
- Quickness in my work: I build my wedding timelines with plenty of buffer room, and I know things can happen where a one hour appointment turns into an 80 minute one. We finished earlier than expected and nothing felt rushed.
- Attention to detail: when working with different skin tones/colors and creating different makeup looks for different face shapes, quality is something I don’t want to compromise on for your wedding day. So I made sure foundation was perfectly matched, eyelashes were glued down real good, and everything was blended seamlessly.

I remember leaving this wedding and just feeling the grace of God that had allowed me to serve my bride and her girls well.

Obedience and prayer do make a difference, even if it means getting out of bed of midnight and getting on your knees to pray. 🫶🏼
