😔I realized a long time ago that I was managing people’s ability to execute and their mindset more than I was giving marketing strategy…
Yes, you may need 💰 money or 📖 knowledge, but our ability to get those items to aid in your businesses success has a lot to do with the mindset…

🙉The truth that no one wants to hear…
That they’re really the problem!!!! (& how we see marketing)
1️⃣First thing to get over is that business costs money. & as you grow, it’s going to cost a lot more. Right now, you’re investing up front with a hope for a returned investment. & how fast you get that investment is totally dependent upon how fast you invest and work that investment.
All of your inventory isn’t going to sell. I’m soooo tired of talking to people about de-stashing inventory! Or trying to repost it for the millionth time. Mark it down to see if you can get anything for it, if not, just get rid of it. & count it as a tax ✍🏽 write off.
2️⃣Second thing is that somebody is going to have to show up for your business. I know the whole faceless business was a short-lived trend that many tried, but let’s be honest. How did or is that going for you???? 🫣
🙃Regardless of how much we say we “hate people”, & how introverted we are, when we’re making buying decisions, PEOPLE NEED TO 🔭SEE PEOPLE. The faster you get to 📸 showing up in your business, the faster 💨 you can pay the right person to show up for you.
3️⃣Last but certainly not least, marketing costs money too y’all. & in the beginning, it’s going to be one of your largest expenses & should be one of your top 3 priorities. Honestly, I believe you should put just as much into it as you do everything else in your first 6 months.
🤨You don’t want to do vendor events & you’re scared of paid advertising…
Please understand that paying for brand awareness is always apart of the marketing funnel. It never ends.🔄
as your business grows, 📈there’s always new people that are being added to the funnel & it starts with brand awareness. The faster we come to terms with paying for leads, the faster we can improve upon the process!

THISSSSSS ⬇️ is what most are missing!
Many of us don’t spend enough time⌚️in phase 1 & 2 of the ‘BAE’ 😘 Method…. It’s always about getting straight purchasing inventory and launching on your 🧁bday (🤭sorry not sorry)
❇️Phase 1: Build Your Foundation sets you up for … ❇️Phase 2: Activate Brand Awareness and Lead Generation Activities
So, even if you’ve started doing Phase 2…if you skipped on any part of Phase 1, you’re going to find yourself stressed as to why your brand isn’t getting the reach and sales it needs!
Here’s just a part of what you’ll need to do in Phase 1️⃣ that will make your 1st 6️⃣ months after launching better… I recommend having…
✅30 - 90 days worth of ‘planned’ content
✅At least half of your 1st campaign content created AND scheduled on all platforms
✅ Your email + sms flows and at least half of the content for your emails + sms campaigns planned and scheduled
✅ A plan for and already have events lined up that your ideal target audience will be at
✅ A plan for best case AND worst case scenarios
✅ A paid advertising plan that focuses on driving traffic to a. your Ig page AND b. to a landing page that has a good lead magnet for your customer!
