I would just like to clarify how the voting of the RAW Awards works since I have been seeing/hearing that I do not deserve to win. The top 5 were voted by THE PUBLIC! This was the only voting that was done by any friends and family. The top 3 were selected by the Three Rivers Arts Festival Director, Director of Pittsburgh Public Art, and the Curator of PCA. The FINAL VOTE was decided by the RAW Headquarters and not even the RAW Pittsburgh team knew who was winning until the envelope was torn open. So anyone who would like to say I do not deserve to win this award based on credentials please come challenge me because as far as I am concerned I am MORE THAN QUALIFIED to hold this title. This is my passion and what I attended school for and so I take this very seriously and find it EXTREMELY offensive that anyone would say such terrible things about something I've worked VERY VERY hard for. For those of you who have been supportive I do thank you because you understand how much this means to me.
