I love cutting and coloring hair, but extensions and alternative hair (wigs & toppers) are my absolute favorite part of doing hair. There is nothing better than seeing the spark back in someone’s eyes because they feel confident again and knowing you did that for them 🥰

Got this Mama of the groom ready for the big day! She stopped coloring her hair years ago. She was happy to embrace her natural color along with the gray. In fact, she was patiently waiting for MORE gray than Mother Nature has given her up to this point in time. She really only had two patches on the sides with a few strands sprinkled in here and there. So today we went shorter with the cut and added some “gray-lights” to the top and fringe for a more cohesive look with the sides. Let me know what you think in the comments 👇

This was a new client looking for a change. I did a partial highlight, followed by a haircut, root tap and tone. The root tap softens the line of demarcation, allowing for a beautiful grow out. I played around with placement here taking vertical sections (not the typical horizontal) in the mohawk area so that she can flip her hair any which way. It will look different depending on how she parts it giving her many styling options.
