Do you use natural cleaning products? Itâs great to focus on filling your belly with nutritious foods, but if youâre cleaning your house with non-natural chemical formulas, you may be undoing some of your hard work by ingesting those toxins. Try to use natural alternatives that are non-toxic & eco-friendly. Good ole baking soda & vinegar are good for degreasing a sink or cleaning windows. Try this natural all-purpose cleaner recipe below...
Natural all-purpose cleaner:
3 parts filtered water
1 part white vinegar
2 tsp lemon juice
5 drops tea tee essential oil

Gut health seems to be all the rage these days, and for good reason! The gut is home to millions of little bacteria that help maintain your immune system, digest your food, and have a huge effect on the health of your skin. Once you start to improve your gut health youâll notice a more balanced digestion, youâll experience more energy and clarity of mind as well as clearer, firmer, more glowing skin and healthy, strong hair and nails. A great step in promoting gut health is adding in fermented foods like kombucha, kimchi, pickled veggies, and omega-3 rich foods like salmon, walnuts, & chia seeds. Try making your own pickled red onions and top on some veggies or fish tacos...
Pickled Red Onions
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 small red onion
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 cup hot water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp mustard seeds (optional)
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Very thinly slice onion and pack tightly into a glass jar with a lid.
2. Heat the water to boiling. Mix with the vinegars, salt, honey, and mustard seeds. Stir until the salt and optional honey are dissolved.
3. Pour the hot liquid over the onions, covering them completely. Close the lid and give it a little shake.
4. Refrigerate onions overnight.
5. Store tightly sealed in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

Treat yourself & your skin with these yummy CHILI - SPIKED DATE TRUFFLES!!!
Who doesnât love a dark chocolate & peanut butter combo?!!! Then add in a little cayenne pepper to help spark your digestive fire! Itâs the perfect sweet treat for your Valentineâs Day. The protein in the peanut butter will help to balance the chocolate and your blood sugar levels. High-fives for keeping energy sustained & metabolism firing! The cayenne pepper nourishes your skin from within by increasing blood flow to the skin, bringing with it oxygen and many other essential nutrients that promote that healthy glow. Double bonus that cayenne pepper promotes good digestion that effects the health of your skin!
CHILI - SPIKED DATE TRUFFLES
Ingredients:
1/4 cup all natural peanut butter
1 tbs flax seed
3 tbs maple syrup
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of Himalayan salt
1/2 cup Enjoy Life dark chocolate chips (or another brand just try & choose 70% & higher)
1 tbs coconut oil
Instructions:
-line medium baking tray with parchment paper
-prepare filling by combining peanut butter, flax seed, maple syrup, & spices until well combined
-prepare dates by cutting down the centerline, going halfway through to expose & remove the pit. Fill each date with filling & set aside
-prepare dark chocolate by placing cocoa chips over a double broiler with coconut oil & stir until well combined
-using a toothpick or fork dip filled dates into melted chocolate and coat evenly
-place on lined tray & cook in fridge for 30 minutes or until set
