Two hundred and fifty years ago, brave men and women chose freedom over fear and sacrifice over comfort. Because of them—and because of the generations of heroes who have defended this nation ever since—we have the privilege of celebrating today. Like Freedom of speech and Freedom of Religion and others.

I can't help but think back to growing up in the 70s and 80s. Life seemed simpler. On Sundays and holidays, businesses were closed, families gathered together, and we actually enjoyed one another's company. There were no cell phones at the dinner table, no endless scrolling, no constant notifications pulling us away from the people sitting right beside us. We laughed, talked, played outside, and made memories that still live in our hearts today.

While our world has changed, one thing should never change—our appreciation for our freedoms and our willingness to protect them. Freedom is never guaranteed. Every generation has a responsibility to cherish it, defend it, and pass it on.

Today, more than ever, I believe we need people of courage, kindness, conviction, and faith. We need neighbors who care about one another, families who stay connected, communities that stand together, and citizens who remain informed and involved. The future of America isn't built by someone else—it's built by each of us, one decision at a time.

Most importantly, let us never forget our Veterans. They left their homes and families, endured hardships most of us will never fully understand, and many sacrificed everything for people they would never meet. They believed this country was worth defending. The least we can do is remember them, pray for them, thank them, and honor the freedoms they fought to preserve. And Never stop waving your flag Thanking God and never back down to someone who wants to take that from us.

So today, hug your family a little tighter. Call someone you love. Fly your flag proudly. Pray for our military, our Veterans, our first responders, and our nation.

May God continue to bless America, guide her people, and help us leave an even stronger nation for the generations that follow.

What a wonderful visit we had with this amazing Family. They are the Mom, grand parents, uncle and Cousin of one of the Veterans we will never let be forgotten. His Name is Jordan but he went by Tyler. It was nice sitting and hearing all about the fun memories from the family about who Tyler really was. This is the part of the mission that is the most heart warming when you can talk to the families and sit and listen to who their Hero was and see them laugh, sometimes cry, but reminisce about the fun stories of his life. Paula, Keith, Cody, Terry and Janice Thank you for a very wonderful visit and we look forward to seeing you again!!! Please keep us in your prayers as we are coming to having to make some very difficult decisions in the next few weeks. We love what we do and our heart is truly in it but some things are making it very difficult to continue in the direction we are headed. We are praying that God will direct us as far as what decision to make and that Path we should continue traveling. We know we are where he wants us to be but Satan us sure trying to put stumbling blocks in our way.
