When we started our Back-to-School Supply Drive, our goal was simple: help make sure the children and teens at Oasis Youth Shelter and Bridge & Beyond Emergency Shelter had the backpacks and school supplies they needed to start the year prepared.
Thanks to our guests, team members, friends, families, and community - we reached our goal!
We recently received this wonderful note from Lutheran Services Florida letting us know that our combined efforts helped dozens of children start the school year ready to succeed.
That belongs to all of you who purchased a backpack, ordered something from the wish list, shared our posts, or helped spread the word.
Sometimes a backpack and a few school supplies may seem like small things. But for a young person going through a difficult time, knowing their community is behind them can mean so much more.
