Let’s take a moment for some lash education!

Quality lash extensions can take up to 3, sometimes 4 hours for application!

Why?
- humans can have anywhere from 70-150 lashes on EACH eye, on average. 💥 each of those lashes gets it’s very own extension 💥

🚨let’s do a timeline of a typical appointment🚨
- meet&greet, put purse/jacket away, restroom, laying down : 5 minutes
- consultation : 3 minutes
- lash bath : 5 minutes
- eye pads/tape : 5 minutes
- mapping : 3 minutes
- priming : 1 minute
- lashing 140-300 lashes : 1.5 hours (it takes an average of 10 seconds to isolate and 5 seconds to apply a typical lash)
- brushing through lashes : 5 minutes (30 second intervals several times throughout service)
- bonding/hydromist : 2 minutes
- checking for stickies/taking off tape : 2 minutes
- reveal : 3 minutes
- aftercare instructions/payment : 10 minutes

The length of a service can drastically differ depending on:
- speed of lash tech
- if client sleeps, talks, twitches, etc
- how many lashes a client has
- hope cooperative the lash glue is
- temperature/humidity of the space
- if client comes with bare face and clean lashes
- and soo much more!

SPEED DOES NOT DEFINE SKILL … when it comes to lashing!!
