Before Hair by Christyn Hawthorne someone else was making my schedule. I worked many years of long hours, sometimes 8-10 days in a row, and it was hard to request time off for things like Saturday soccer games...

I’m so grateful to be able to see my son’s soccer practices and games. And have slow Saturday mornings with my family. Thank you to all my loyal, amazing clients. Couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

Happy Saturday! I’m “off” today and working my other business Rainbows for Fynn. I will be popping up at JAM Family Fest. Excited for this one! It’s gonna be an awesome family fun day for a good cause. (Great little Mother’s Day outting.)

❓Questions with Christyn- Should I cut my hair when I’m growing it ❓

Growing your hair but wondering if you should still cut it? Short answer yes, just not in the way you might think.

Skipping haircuts usually backfires. Dry ends keep splitting, and before you know it you’re losing more length than you’re gaining.

Instead, a small strategic trim keeps your ends healthy so your hair can actually grow and look better while it does. It’s not about taking inches off. It’s about maintaining what you’re growing.

And, this isn’t just a “long hair” thing. This applies to women, kids, and even men trying to grow into something longer or different.

Hair splits, and once it does it doesn’t fix itself. Waiting usually just means more has to come off later.

So if your goal is longer hair, the plan isn’t no haircuts. It’s the right haircuts at the right time.

And don’t worry. I get it. We get attached to our hair, and our kids hair. I really will just do a light trim. As well as a consultation to make sure you feel comfortable 😊
