Another Friday in the books?!? 💋

Cheers to a new (& chilly 🥶) fall weekend! At the Slay, we want to start doing a little team highlight each week so I’ll be selfish & start with me - Slay owner, team lead or as my fellow stylists like to call me, the big dawg 🐕 ! (to which I normally deep bark & get eye rolled 😜).

I started Slay Bae in the babiest suite of Sola Salons Cool Springs in 2018. I took pride in my small suite (literally the styling chair was also my shampoo bowl — I’d spin my clients around to rinse their color 😂). I had like 4 bottles of Pureology for retail (bc that’s all I could afford). My space may have drastically changed over the years, but my “why” has always remained the same - I love doing hair, I love building relationships with people & I love coaching & building stylists to hit their full potential. I grew up a skeptic to how much money you can actually make in this industry, so once I figured out the secret sauce to grossing over 250k behind the chair, I felt it was a disservice not to share it!

I’ve educated for a top brand, traveled the world teaching hair extensions & even became a face of Sola! I grew from a small suite to a double to eventually having 2 doubles and a large suite 👀 and realizing this little mission was more than I had anticipated. We landed in our Green Hills location last May & I’ve been on the track to grow this thing ever since! I love my team & it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever tackled, but I thank God every day that I have the opportunity to lead them. 🙏🏼

I also have the best bf (his dimples are to die for 🤤 & he loves me so well), a big fluffy bestie named Hank and feel more at home traveling than when I’m actually at home. Thank you for following this journey! 🥰 Can’t wait to introduce you to the rest of our team!
