Practicing loving myself out loud. ❤️
Sometimes it really is as simple as wear the shirt, Qua. 😂
Wear the outfit you like.
Take the picture.
Smile at yourself.
Show up as yourself.
Stop waiting for a special occasion, someone else’s approval, or the “perfect” version of you to arrive.
I’m learning to enjoy this version of me while she’s becoming everything God called her to be. ✨

Growth doesn’t always mean something was wrong. Sometimes it simply means you’ve grown beyond what once fit—thoughts, spaces, beliefs, relationships, and even versions of yourself.
Just like art, development can happen in series. One season builds on the next, and every version has a place in the story.
This season, I’m learning to honor what was without forcing it to come with me into what’s next. 🌱🎨
Outgrowing isn’t always rejection. Sometimes it’s development.

This check-in was a reminder to slow down and intentionally notice the good. As humans, it can be so easy to focus on what we don’t have, what isn’t going right, or what we’re still waiting for. But there is so much beauty happening in the present moment when we take the time to recognize it.
My affirmation for this season includes Philippians 4:8 — choosing to focus my mind on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise.
This isn’t about ignoring the hard things. It’s about remembering that the hard things aren’t the whole story. There is still goodness, growth, peace, connection, progress, and so much to be grateful for. ❤️
Notice the good. Give it your attention. Let gratitude have a voice, too.
