Flight attendant drama and unintentional airport theory test. What a travel day!
After getting caught in some traffic going through Dallas, I arrived at the airport with nine minutes until boarding started. I was not planning on testing airport theory today, but that is indeed what happened. I was going through the general boarding security line so that’s always a gamble. It was a blessing that an entire men’s soccer team was behind me in line and not in front of me. So I breeze through security, but that could’ve made it interesting.
Then I was shocked when the flight attendant pushed two passengers by their knees, forcing them to un cross their legs because she claimed they were going to trip her and she wasn’t about to have that happen on her last day. Neither of those passengers had their foot sticking into the aisle. Both of them had tucked both of their feet under the seat in front of them with their legs crossed. One of these passengers was an old man who used a cane for assistance and when she pushed his knee and it didn’t immediately un cross, most likely due to his impeded mobility, she pushed his knee again while he was actively trying to move his legs because he didn’t understand and was confused as to why she was pushing him and not saying anything she immediately snapped you aren’t about to trip me today not on my last day. Meanwhile, multiple other flight attendants had walked past and not had any issue because he wasn’t obstructing the aisle. I understand that in some instances where the person sitting on the aisle may not be paying attention and crosses their leg that their foot could stick out and if you’re walking by, or walking backwards past and don’t see it that could cause a problem. OK that’s fine then just ask them to remain with both feet on the ground instead of crossed until you’re finished with service don’t just start pushing people. Just because it’s your last day doesn’t mean you get to be nasty. They are still human beings and that poor old man did not deserve to be shoved like that.

Did someone say pumpkin spice?!?! We did these nails three days before the Starbucks release in anticipation. The color scheme was picked purely off the vibe that we got from the name pumpkin spice. I must say it worked out quite well.

My toxic trait is accomplishing something simply because someone tells me I can’t. I’ve done the seemingly impossible fueled by pure delusion and sheer determination.
I may be only 5ft tall but give me a hammer, impact driver, and a Skil saw and you better believe I remodeled my whole kitchen.
Quit my job and was doubted that I wouldn’t make it as a brand new nail tech. Less than one year in and I was booked 3 to 4 weeks out with a waiting list.
Everyone says you can’t own a home at a young age in this economy anymore. Well don’t even get me started on that one. Homeowner at 26 because I know what I want and I locked in and made it happen.
I could keep going but you get the point. If you set your mind to something and refuse to give up you will go far.
