Some people aren't in love with who someone is. They're in love with who they hope they'll become. Potential is exciting, but it is not a foundation for covenant. Character matters more than chemistry.

Scripture says, "You will know them by their fruits." — Matthew 7:16

Pay attention to the fruit, not just the feelings. Don't ignore consistent patterns because you're attached to future possibilities. God isn't asking you to build a relationship on imagination. He's calling you to build one on truth.

THE DANGER OF LEAVING YOUR ASSIGNMENT…

One of the greatest tragedies in the Kingdom is not that people stop serving God…

It’s that they abandon the assignment He gave them.

I’ve watched anointed men and women slowly drift from the place of divine grace. They weren’t overtaken by gross sin. They simply stepped outside of the lane Heaven marked for them.

Three things often pull people away from their assignment…

Distraction. They become fascinated with what God is doing through someone else and lose sight of what He told them to build.

Offense. A wound becomes more powerful than a word from God. Instead of pressing through, they walk away from the very field where God intended to bring fruit.

Carnality. The desire for recognition, influence, money, or comfort becomes greater than the desire to obey. The flesh will always pull you away from your divine commission.

Paul didn’t say, “I built the biggest ministry.”

He said, “I have finished my course.” (2 Timothy 4:7)

That is the cry of every faithful servant.

The enemy doesn’t have to destroy your life if he can simply redirect your assignment.

Guard what God has entrusted to you. Pray over it. Refuse comparison. Refuse offense. Crucify the flesh daily.

Nothing is more dangerous than succeeding at something God never called you to do.

Some of us have forgotten how to celebrate. We are so focused on the next prayer that we never stop to thank God for the last one He answered. We pray for provision, and when it comes, we immediately start worrying about the next bill. We pray for healing, and once we're healthy, we become distracted by something else. We pray for open doors, and when God opens them, we become consumed with what's waiting on the other side instead of stopping to thank the One who opened them. Scripture says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." — Psalm 103:2 One of the quickest ways to lose your wonder is to stop remembering what God has already done. Gratitude keeps your heart soft. Celebration reminds you that the same God who was faithful yesterday will be faithful tomorrow.

The enemy would love for you to become so consumed with what you don't have that you completely overlook everything God has already placed in your hands.Take time to celebrate.

Celebrate the prayers that were answered.
Celebrate the doors that were opened.
Celebrate the healing that came.
Celebrate the freedom you now walk in.
